Medication Interactions with Lexapro
Lexapro should not be combined with the monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOIs), tryptophan, aspirin, warfarin, of other SSRIS, serotonin-norepinephrine the inhibitors of reconsommation (SNRIs) and street John Wort. Use Lexapro with caution if you are pregnant / breastfeeding. Absolute contraindications exist for lexapro and MAOIS, pimozide, those with a hypersensitive reaction and suicidality assets. The rare risk linked to the aspirin, the warfarin or in NSAIDS is an association; the patients are discouraged from using these reactive together. Dialogue with your psychiatrist if on warfarin. The use of these agents is not an absolute contraindication.
